Three things that makes me happy ....

... with Desulme Junior, street artist, Port-au-Prince.

I meet Desulme Junior just by chance in the area Boutilier, high up in the hills above the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. Desulme is one of several local painters, selling their work to the (mostly) development assistance workers that have flooded Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January 2010.

What makes a movie director happy?

First came Hollywood, then it was Bollywood. Now it's time for Nollywood. It's vibrant, charming and extremely dynamic. And where else would you be able to make a movie with a total budget of aproximately 6 500 USD and still be able to hire one of the best known-male actors in the country?

But beeing director is not always easy, especially not when taking the Lagos traffic into account.

At least when the cleaning of the birds is done (Prince Yemisi Shyllon tapping the head of the statue). And happiness? His life is full of it!
